Deborah Nikita is pleased to announce that her daughter, CIRI shareholder Aleshanee Nikita, was recently accepted to the New Mexico School for the Arts, a performing and visual-arts high school. Aleshanee graduated from middle school in May, where she was named to the honor roll and honored for academic and athletic excellence by Native American Student Services, a program of Santa Fe Public Schools. She recently performed with the Aspen Santa Fe Ballet. Aleshanee is the daughter of original CIRI shareholder Daniel Nikita and the granddaughter of the late Katherine Nikita Theodore, an original CIRI shareholder of Athabascan descent.
