CIRI descendant Susan Williams recently joined the Human Resources Department as the Human Resources Assistant. She previously worked at CIRI Alaska Tourism for 3 summers, then applied for the seasonal H.R. clerk this past spring.
Susan’s family obviously believes in higher education. She earned a Bachelor of Liberal Studies degree from the University of Oklahoma in December 2007. She credits The CIRI Foundation with helping her afford school, as does her identical twin sister and her older sister. Her mother Marie is currently studying for her master’s degree in English.
Susan enjoys almost all outdoor activities including camping, hiking and running and spends her weekends in Talkeetna, where her boyfriend and her sister are living and working.
