CIRI descendant Amy Lauren Sloan of Athens, Ala., graduated from the University of Alabama-Huntsville with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing on May 11, 2008. Amy is the daughter of CIRI shareholder Lori Jennings Sloan and the granddaughter of the late Carol Pederson Jennings. Amy works as a registered nurse in the Neuro Intensive Care Unit of Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Ala. She would like to express her most sincere thanks and appreciation for the financial help and encouragement of The CIRI Foundation.
