North Wind Inc., a CIRI company, recently entered into a strategic business alliance agreement with Thermal Remediation Services Inc., a Longview, Wash.-based company. The alliance was formed in response to market demand for environmental remediation services that the two industry leaders offer together. Each company developed and owns remediation technology that when combined, is complementary.

Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI) is one of 12 regional corporations established in Alaska by the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act of 1971. CIRI is owned by nearly 9,500 Shareholders, primarily of Athabascan, Southeast Indian, Inupiat, Yup’ik, Alutiiq/Sugpiaq and Aleut/Unangax descent.
