North Wind environmental and engineering project consultants have been mandatorily evacuated from Los Alamos National Laboratory and the Los Alamos town site. Drought conditions there have caused the threatening Los Conchas New Mexico wildfire to grow to more than 90,000 acres since the blaze started on Sunday, June 26. North Wind Inc., a CIRI-owned nationwide environmental remediation, engineering, project management and construction services company, reports that its New Mexico-based employees are safe and that many have opened their homes to displaced residents.
