Daniel Thomas Golden passed away July 18 in Anchorage. Mr. Golden was born June 16, 1961, in Anchorage. He is survived by his siblings, Patsy Marston and Michael J. Golden III; and four nieces and nephews.

Christopher James Kiana Jr. passed away Aug. 18 in Anchorage. Mr. Kiana was born Sept. 26, 1976, in Anchorage. His hobbies included hunting and fishing, tie-flying, drone operating and gardening. He is survived by his mother, Cleotilde Kiana; children, Brenden, Sean and Kayli Kiana; and siblings, Nicole and Anthony (Tiffany) Kiana.

CHRISTOPHER JAMES KIANA SR., 80
Christopher James Kiana Sr. passed away April 18 in Anchorage. Mr. Kiana was born Dec. 24, 1943, in Candle, Alaska. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and completed two tours during the Vietnam War. A distinguished scholar, he held a bachelor’s degree, two master’s degrees and a Doctor of Business Administration degree. He is survived by his wife, Cleotilde Kiana; children, Nicole and Anthony (Tiffany) Kiana; grandchildren, Brenden, Kayli and Sean Kiana; and siblings, Caroline Bumgardner, Glenna Maulding, Emma Kiana, Bill Kiana, George Kiana and Terry Keezer.

JULIA ANN MARKEY, 55
Julia Ann Markey passed away March 8 in Erwin, Tenn. Ms. Markey was born Nov. 24, 1968, in Seattle, Wash. She is survived by her husband, James Wright; children, Melanie and Haleigh Erwin; grandchildren, Jacob, Ian, Coylston, Brendan, Sylus and Baggett; grandfather, Howard Carlough; and siblings, Jennifer Markey, James Markey and Steven Markey.

ETHEL ALICE NATION, 91
Ethel Alice Nation passed away Jan. 28 in North Pole, Alaska. Ms. Nation was born Oct. 24, 1932, in Ketchikan, Alaska. She met the love of her life and husband of 67 years, Parker Nation, at Mt. Edgecumbe High School in Sitka, Alaska. Her hobbies included gardening, cooking, berry picking and attending fish camp on the Tanana River. She is survived by her brother, George Guthrie; children, Vivian (Dan) Hitchcock, Karen (Jim) Ricks and Parker Nation Jr.; grandchildren, Renee Perry, Melanie Osberg, Ceceila Nation, Jimmie Ricks III and Aimee Schoonover; and many great-grandchildren.

MICHAEL LLOYD PRICE, 66
Michael Lloyd Price passed away July 22 in Anchorage. Mr. Price was born Nov. 2, 1957. He loved anything outdoors; his favorite jobs were deck boss on the AK 1 and traveling statewide with DOWL doing construction. He was a journeyman painter and worked as a surveyor with Walatka & Associates for 10 years. Mr. Price assisted his father in caring for his wife for five years. His family remembers him for his generous, protective and sacrificing nature. Mr. Price is survived by his siblings, Marie and Michele; brother-in-law, Randall; and many other family members and loved ones.

RONALD KARL STETTLER, 80
Ronald Karl Stettler passed away June 4 in Bellevue, Wash. Mr. Stettler was born May 9, 1944, in Talkeetna, Alaska. He is survived by his children, Anita Barnett and Christine Bernsen; and grandchildren, Dustin Barnett, Amber Kamenga and Tristen Bernsen.
