CIRI descendant Ashley Smith and Shaun Guthrie would like to welcome Reece Edison Guthrie to the family. Baby Reece was born Dec. 19, 2009, in Juneau, Alaska, where his father is employed with Central Council Tlingit and Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska. He weighed 7 pounds, 8 ounces and was 20 inches long. Reece’s maternal grandparents are CIRI shareholder Tonya Moy and William Moy, and his great-grandparents are CIRI shareholders Edward and P. Rose Smith.
