CIRI descendant Richard Isam Hilleary graduated with high honors from the College of Southern Nevada in Las Vegas, Nev., on May 17, 2008, with two Associate of Arts degrees in Biology and Chemistry. Richard was named the Biology Student of the Year for the College of Southern Nevada and was also selected as the American Chemistry Society Outstanding Chemistry Student of the Year for the College of Southern Nevada. Richard is also a member of PHI THETA KAPPA honor society. Richard will continue his studies in the field of Biochemistry at the University of Nevada, Reno. Richard is the son of CIRI shareholder Richard G. Hilleary and Janet Hilleary of Nikiski, Alaska and grandson of CIRI shareholder Olga Hilleary of Nikiski, Alaska.
