CIRI descendant Zoe McGuire, daughter of CIRI shareholder Anita Evans and Jason McGuire, will be attending the Junior National Young Leaders Conference in Washington, D.C. during spring break in 2010. Zoe is currently in 7th grade at Clark Middle School in Anchorage and was nominated for the JrNYLC by her 6th grade teacher, Ms. Lisa Wardle. Zoe is the granddaughter of CIRI shareholder Teresa Wilson and Roy Evans Sr. and Dr. David and Cheri McGuire. Zoe already shows exemplary leadership qualities, volunteers for many causes and has a keen interest in her Alaska Native culture. Her mother states, “She is always willing to help out, especially those that need it the most, involving others in charity causes and making an adventure out of tedious tasks. Zoe is an outstanding student with high grades and the most precious daughter any parent can wish for.”
