CIRI shareholder Demaris “Dee Dee” Hudson is currently serving as president of the Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) at the Alaska Native Cultural Charter School in Anchorage for the 2009-10 school year. She was elected in February to serve on the Academic Policy Committee as the APC PTSA Representative. She is also serving on the Native Advisory Committee, which is comprised of parents and guardians of Alaska Native/Native American students enrolled in the Anchorage School District. Dee Dee is also a member of Native Village of Tyonek and a shareholder in Tyonek Native Corp. She is the daughter of Virginia Chickalusion Hudson and granddaughter of Maxim Chickalusion and the late Nelie Stephan Chickalusion.
