UNLV graduate
CIRI descendant Terri Berg graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in December 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a 3.6 GPA. She was a member of Psi Chi, a National Honors Society of psychology students. She also created a student organization called the UNLV Student Peace Alliance, where she was president of a group of students campaigning for the creation of a cabinetlevel Department of Peace and Nonviolence. This fall, Terri will begin working toward her doctorate at Pacific University where she has been accepted to the clinical psychology PhD program. Terri is the daughter of Gunnar and Toni Berg and the granddaughter of Bob and CIRI shareholder Olga Berg; and Caroline and the late Jimmy Toloff. Terri states that she received funding for college through the CIRI Foundation and cannot stress how much the financial support was appreciated.
