The CIRI Foundation (TCF) is excited to share important updates to its scholarship program and application process! These changes are designed to better support CIRI Shareholders and Descendants while helping ensure education funding for generations to come. Recent updates include:
- Scholarships awarded per term: To make funding easier to understand and manage, TCF will transition to a term-based scholarship program. This includes $200 per credit hour for all students. Students taking 15 or more credits per term are eligible for up to $3,000 per term (e.g., $2,400 for 12 credits).
- Lifetime funding limits: Funding limits balance support and sustainability, ensuring TCF can continue its education funding. Students may receive up to $30,000 for bachelor’s degrees, career technical education training and certificates, and up to $20,000 for master’s degrees (total: $50,000).
- Improved application portal: TCF’s online application vendor has launched a system improvement update. When applications reopen April 1, applicants will notice a streamlined and user-friendly portal experience. (Important: All applicants must create a new user ID and password.)
