CIRI’s Board of Directors is responsible for initiating and developing the policies that further the goals of the company. The Board achieves its goal by working with management to ensure the company’s business plan accounts for changing market conditions. CIRI’s Board balances the interests of current and future generations of Shareholders while also maximizing growth and revenue through investment in business interests that gain competitive advantages.
The value CIRI places on diversity as an asset and strength is reflected in its Board members, a group of voting CIRI Shareholders who are elected by their fellow Shareholders. CIRI Directors represent Alaska’s diverse cultural backgrounds, and many have served on the boards of CIRI subsidiary companies and its family of nonprofits for decades. Ranging in age and experience, they bring expertise from an array of fields including pipeline service, commercial fishing, land development, law enforcement, cyber security, energy, investment management, education, engineering and medicine.
