Douglas W. Fifer

CIRI Board Chair – Tlingit

Douglas W. Fifer is a retired Municipality of Anchorage police officer and successful Alaskan entrepreneur. He was a union representative for the Anchorage Police Department Employees Association and volunteers his time and expertise with numerous nonprofit organizations in Alaska and the Lower 48. Mr. Fifer serves as a director of the Alaska Native Justice Center and on the boards of Cook Inlet Tribal Council (CITC) and CITC Enterprises, Inc., a for-profit subsidiary of CITC. He currently serves as a trustee and vice chair of the CIRI Settlement Trust. Mr. Fifer has served on the CIRI Board since 2006.
