Cultural advisors needed for CITC school program

Cook Inlet Tribal Council (CITC) is seeking volunteers to serve as cultural advisors for the CITC Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Techno-Culture (STEM-TC) in Elementary, Middle, and High School program. The advisors will work with the STEM-TC instructors to help bring cultural knowledge into the classrooms the program serves.
Through the STEM-TC in Elementary, Middle, and High School program, CITC infuses Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) into daily lessons and classroom activities while simultaneously integrating Alaska Native culture in the lessons and activities.
For further information regarding the volunteer opportunity, please contact CITC Cultural Advisor Gerald Trigg at (907) 793-3284 or by email at gtrigg@citci.org.
