Flu season is coming up fast and CIRI would like to pass on some valuable information that will help you to prevent an outbreak and to be informed.
Last week, HR passed out a memorandum called “Influenza Update”. With the increase of swine flu cases in Alaska, this information is timely.
Along with hand sanitizer spray and telephone disinfectant wipes, they also distributed flyers from Magellan Health Services and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention with wellness tips and FAQ’s on the flu and specifically the swine influenza A (H1N1) virus. Seasonal flu shots will be available in early October for CIRI employees and family members in coordination with Southcentral Foundation. More information will be coming soon.
