Sam’s Club has moved into a new 146,000-square-foot building at Tikahtnu Commons in Anchorage. The grand opening was commemorated with a ribbon-cutting attended by the Mayor of Anchorage on Sept. 5. The Sam’s Club on the Old Seward Highway in the Dimond area remains open and the Sam’s Club near the Northway Mall is now closed.
Tikahtnu Commons is Alaska’s largest shopping and entertainment center and is a one-stop shopping and dining destination for the whole family. It is located on 95-acres of CIRI land in northeast Anchorage.
