Weather conditions, volcanoes or other events can cause unexpected problems

Weather conditions, volcanoes or other events can cause unexpected business disruptions. CIRI is drafting a business continuity plan to prepare for these events and help restore business operations after closures. The company plans to release its emergency plan later this month. In the meantime, CIRI will disseminate information about office closures in the following ways:

CIRI emergency phone list. All department heads, managers and supervisors will notify their staff members with information about office closures or delayed openings. Please advise your supervisor if any of your contact information changes.

CIRI emergency hotline – 562-CIRI (562-2474). Hotline messages will be recorded as early as possible when office closures or delayed openings occur. Emergency messages will be updated as appropriate.

CIRI main number – 274-8638. The message on CIRI’s main number will be updated as early as possible when office closures or delayed openings occur.

CIRI E-mail. CIRI will e-mail emergency notifications to all employees’ CIRI e-mail accounts. Remote access to CIRI e-mail is available on CIRI’s website.
