Throughout 2015, this newsletter will showcase a series of profiles on the seven ANCSA-certified villages in the Cook Inlet region. We’ll take a look at what life is like in each village: the attractions, the opportunities, the challenges.
Our first village, Salamatof, is located on the Kenai Peninsula between the communities of Kenai and Nikiski. The historic village site overlooks Cook Inlet and the towering Mt. Redoubt across the inlet.
